Beginners
Style your first tree from start to finish. Theory sessions in the morning covering bonsai design, what makes a good bonsai, wiring and care, as well as maintenance. Design your own tree in the afternoon. You choose a pre-bonsai juniper, style and wire the tree, pot in a bonsai pot and add pebble and moss to take home.
Provided: Theory notes, tree, pot, soil, wire and any materials required to design your bonsai to take home with you. Tools are on loan to students for the day. Tuition in the morning and practical skills in the afternoon. You take home a finished tree valued at $175.00.

Bring your own tree. Instructions, hands-on demonstrations provided for a variety of trees. You must have bonsai knowledge - pre-requisite is a Beginners class. Create a new bonsai, work on established bonsai or style a bonsai tree in training.
